2007 11 24

Happened
At ten, I met Rina and Kay at the subway station and went to BunDang to meet Wendy. We arrived at eleven and met Wendy. We went to JJimJilBang and had lunch and ice cream. We had nothing to do, therefore we went to SeuHyun. Rina had ears pierced and she said it didn't hert. Top of earing building there was NoRaeBang. Therefore we all went in and sang songs for two hours. After we went to take a photo. About four, we left to Seoul. When I arrived home, I went out again to meet my other friends. I met them at rodeo and played for three hours. At eleven, I went back to my home.

Feeling
I felt so tired because I walked and played for whole entire day. At home I went to sleep right away.

Learning
In the morning I read book for thirty minutes. I learned some vocabulary words.

2007 11 23

Happened
Today I had test at school in Korean class. It was a retest so the questions were all the same. I studied for many hours and I did better than last test. It was half day so the school finished early. After school, we had basketball practice. Mr. Wallace gave us Kimbap and practiced for one and half an hour. We had pizza again after practice.

Feeling
I felt so tired because of hard basketball practice. Also I was happy because of good test and early release.

Learning
At reading class, I learned about story that we read before.

Are colleges important?

Have you ever wondered why your parents nag you to go to college and do well in school? Have you heard “college is an essential thing to life” before? I know you are all tired of hearing it over and over again. I’ll tell you why it is important. Without education, there is a chain reaction unless you’re the 25% of the lucky few people that get a good job with out a college education. The chain reaction is if you don’t do well in high school you don’t get into a good college. Without a good college, you can’t have an education and jobs. These days they look for the 50% of people that have a really good education and graduate from most likely an Ivy League school.

College education is good physical in and out of college. What I mean by this is that while you are in college, you learn more advanced things then high school even though you may only get 2-4 hours of sleep. I think it’s worth it at the end.

You probably get in shape if you have time on your hands but in the end it pays of physically. Out of college you have a great mental mind if you have learned a lot and passed with a good degree.

If you are those who got a good job after a good college you probably make lots of money without trying hard as other people, and you have a great life. You could go on vacations spend time with you family and enjoy life or just relax.

If you think about it, it’s better to give your effort all in the beginning and relax and enjoy your life at the end. But the downfalls during college are worth it even though you may be tired every class because of not enough sleeps. Still later you can sleep as much as you want.

Therefore think about it. You could waste your life when you start not to study or you can work hard at the beginning and live it all the way through. This is why colleges are important and why parents nag you every day. So pull on through and start strong lives your life.

2007 11 18

Happened
In the morning, I woke up at half past ten. For one hour I played computer and got ready to go out for lunch. At Hyun Dai Department Store, I had lunch. For dessert, I had Haagen-Dazs ice-cream. It was so delicious and I loved it. When I came home, I did some homework and had a sleep. At half past seven, I went to rodeo to buy a birthday present for someone I know. I bought a clothes and it looked so nice.

Feeling
I felt sad because tomorrow I have to go to school again. I really want weekend to come fast next week.

Learning
I didn’t learn anything today. These days I don’t learn much.

2007 11 17

Happened
At one o’clock, I met Wendy at Myung Dong. We walked around for three hours. I didn’t buy anything and Wendy bought a hat. There was a make up place called Etude. We went in there and did some make up and didn’t buy any.

Feeling
I felt tired because I walked so much. I felt sorry at Etude because I didn’t buy any and just came out.

Learning
I had to have a Chinese class but I didn’t. Therefore I didn’t learn anything.

2007 11 16

Happened
After basketball practice I arrived at my home. It was half past seven when I got to my home. These days, I always arrive late because of basketball practice. In home, I unpacked my bag and got ready to go out to rodeo. I made an appointment with my friends. At rodeo, we had spicy noodles for dinner. We went to coffee bean and had a chat with friends. At ten, I went back to home and went to bed.

Feeling
I felt so tired these days. Having four basketball practices in one week, it is too hard. Still I really like it.

Learning
In basketball practice, I learned new position. I really enjoy it.

Final

December 25th is Christmas. Christ means Jesus and -mas means Mass as celebration. It is the day when Jesus was born. No one goes to school or works and take a rest or go to church to celebrate with every people. People decorate Christmas trees, Santa Claus gives presents to children and people sing carol songs.

Martin Luther King, Jr started to stand up Christmas trees. One day before Christmas, Luther got impressed by evergreen tree right below beautiful night star. Luther said that the evergreen tree looked like watching god. He prepared to get evergreen trees and started to decorate the trees. Therefore people also started to decorate Christmas trees.

Santa Claus is a friendly name who gives presents to young kids. There is a man called Nicolas who helped people quietly and secretly. And the Santa Claus got made because of him meaning giving presents for no reasons and helping lots of kids to give happiness. Santa Claus’s real name is called Sanctus Nicolas in Latin.

People sing Christmas songs in Christmas. My best song in carol is ‘All I want for Christmas is you’ sang by Mariah Carey. Carol is sing by anytime anywhere, but people usually sing at special days especially Christmas. If I hear carol songs, I feel really joyful and happy.

In conclusion, I think Christmas is a special day for people and Jesus. Decorating Christmas tree makes people joyful. I feel cool and warmness blows up. I hope a person like Santa Claus comes up more and help people. I am going to hear lots of carols in Christmas and sing along with my friends.

2007 11 11

Happened
At half past ten, I woke up. I called Kay and we promised to meet each other at half past eleven. I got all ready and went to the place that we had to meet. We first went to rodeo and walked around, but there was nothing to do. Therefore we decided to go to coex. At coex, we went to eat some food for lunch. We had some spicy food and we really liked it. About one hour later, we went back to rodeo. We took a photo and I met some sister I know. Kay had to go to her home so she went and I played with some sisters. They called their friends, there were about twenty people playing together. We played at rodeo and walked around and had some food.

Feeling
I slept a lot last night, so I didn’t felt tired. I wore high shoes, so my feet got sore but I tried to walk well.

Learning
In the morning, I read books about five pages. From tomorrow, I will study hard.

2007 11 10

Happened
I stayed in home until four and went out to meet my Korean school friends. We played about two hours in rodeo. We had noodles for dinner. About at seven, I came to home and took a rest. About eleven, I went to dongdaemoon with my mother to buy some clothes.

Feeling
I felt exhausted because I played with my friends and went to dongdaemoon at night. I arrived at home at one in the morning.

Learning
These days I feel down so I don’t really study much. Therefore I didn’t learn much.

2007 11 09

Happened
Sunday is the pepero day, so people brought some peperoes to school and gave their friends. I didn’t buy any so I just received it and couldn’t give it to any one. I ate so much peperoes. In the morning at school, we had an assembly. Teachers gave some students certificates. I thought I wouldn’t get any but in some how, my name was called out. I got surprised and I hurried to go and get the certificate.

Felt
I felt tired in the morning but when I arrived at school; my tiredness went gone right away. When I got the certificate, I felt outstanding because it was my first time getting this stuff.

Learning
Class got shorten, so I didn’t really learn anything.

Happened
At twelve I went out to department store to meet my grandparents. They were buying me and my cousins lunch. We had a chat for a while and had a lunch. About one hour later we finished our lunch and said good bye to each other. I planned to go to watch movie today but I got so tired that I just stayed in home and had a sleep.

Feeling
I really felt tired even though I slept a lot. I felt so sad because tomorrow I have to go to school again.

Learning
On tuesday, I have science test so I studied. I learned about science.

2007 11 03

Happened
I have to wake up at half past six to go to soccer. Only I went to soccer because my friends were not allowed to go. Actually, I went to soccer to see friends in SAIS. I stayed at SFS about one and a half hour because I had to go and see a brother I know. At half past twleve I met him and went to No Rae Bang. At there, I didn't sing a song. Not even one song. He was kept on making me to sing but I really did not wanted to. Therefore, for two hours, he sang by himself.

Feeling
I felt expected because I was meeting him. I met him two years before and this was first time.

Learning
There were no school and no tutor. Therefore I didn't learn anything

In life, there are lots of relationships; with friends, teachers, parents, brothers, sisters, grandmothers, grandfathers, and myself. I think relationship with parents is most important. Secondly is with teachers and lastly with friends. There are many things that we can learn from getting conversations and relationships with any people will make that.

I think relationships with parents are most important. People have to have lots of conversation and have to try to understand what they say. Also have to think about their situation and what to say and try to not say hurting words. By enough conversation, students can solve lots problems with their parents. In this way, students who are friendly with their parents have bright personality and have positive attitude. It can be easier to achieve student’s dream or hope.

Students have to respect teachers and teachers have to respect student’s character. Even though teachers are older, should not disregard students. If they do, students will not follow teacher and will not like them. Also students will not like the subject what that teacher teaches and won’t study much. However if teachers understand students feeling and applause them, they will like teachers and try harder in that subject because students want to show their good attitude. Like this, it is important to meet good teacher. It will decide how good or bad students can be.

Student contacts with friends since young age. Friends who have similar hobby and character, friends who have opposite hobby or character, people meet different kind of friends. What kind of friends we meet makes our behavior, hobby and characteristic changes. Even though our friends lived in other surroundings, we can be friendly because of trust. I think trusting is most important in friends relationship. Each other’s secret, best friends, like this can be all made because of trust.

In conclusion, I think having relationship with someone is very important part of our life. It can decide our future from it and helps us to go in right way.

2007 11 02

Happened
After school, Kay and I went to DongDaeMoon to buy some clothes. We went to a store called APM. APM is my best store I ever went. There are lots of pretty clothes and it is most cheap place in DongDaeMoon. I go there once a week to buy some clothes, but I do not buy a lot. Kay bought one hood t-shirt and pants. I also bought pants, t-shirt and a neck scarf. We went to a food store to have a dinner. For dinner, we had a broiled dish of sliced rice cake and a bun. Buns were so delicious that I bought more for my brother.

Feeling
I felt so excited because I always get excited when I buy clothes. I really liked it because I bought what I want.

Learning
At school, I learned that I have to study really hard to go up to main stream class.
