A boy called Kii Yazhi, speaks Najavo and don't know how to speak English.
He make a dscision to go to a english boarding school.

He spoke Navajo in class, therefore teacher made him eat the soap and hit him.
Not only to Kii Yazhi, teacher did it to lots of children.

He works as hard as he can and got a chance to go into a highschool class.
If he can be a teacher when he grow up, he would always respect children and never make a distinction.

Book Report

Book Report

- It is an essay giving a short summary of a book.
- There are six elements which are a plot, character, setting, point of view, irony, and theme.
- In a plot, you have to describe what occurs during the exposition and complication. Also have to describe what occurs in the climax and resolution.
- In a character, you have to give answers of these several questions which are; What is revealed through the protagonist’s speech? What is revealed through the protagonist’s thoughts? What is revealed through the protagonist’s appearance? What is revealed through what others say or think about the protagonist? What is revealed through the protagonist’s actions? Does the protagonist change during the story? Does this change make the protagonist a dynamic character? How? What is revealed through the antagonist’s speech? What is revealed through the antagonist’s thoughts? What is revealed through the antagonist’s appearance? What is revealed through what others say or think about the antagonist? What is revealed through the antagonist’s actions? Is the antagonist a dynamic or static character and why? List the static characters and describe their role in the story.
- In setting, as same as character, you have to answer some questions to give more specific informations; Where is the location of the story? List the country, region, locale, and exact place of most of the story. When is the story taking place? What year, season, and time of day dominate the story? What do you sense about the setting? Describe the smells, tastes, sights, sounds, and physical feelings. What emotions are linked with the setting? Does the setting act as a source of conflict? How and with what effect on the characters?Does the setting act as a character in the story? How?
- At point of view, you have to tell who is telling the story, how much does the narrator know and have to give examples. Also have to tell How much does the narrator want the reader to understand, what point of view is the narrator taking in the story? and have to describe the tone the narrator takes throughout most of the story.
- In Irony, you have to explain Do the characters ever say one thing and mean the opposite? Give examples of this use of verbal irony. Do the characters say things in a cruel and harsh way, intending to hurt in a personal manner? Give examples of these uses of sarcasm. Does the reader know what is happening when a character does not? Give examples of this use of dramatic irony. Does something happen just the opposite of what is expected? Give examples of this use of situational irony.
- For lastly, you have to answer What insight about human nature is revealed in the story? What view of the world is presented in the story? Do you agree with the author’s view of the world? Why or why not? If the title reveals a hint about the meaning of the story-describe how. Does an object, a setting, an event, an animal, or a person stand for something greater than itself? How often does this symbol occur? What do the symbols stand for? Is there a problem in the story? How is it solved? Using the 3 steps, a. subject, b. values transmitted, c.how the main character solves the problem and what this teaches about life in general, state a possible theme for the novel.

2008 02 06

I stayed home until 5 o'clock and my phone started to rang. Two of my friends wanted to eat pizza, therefore we met at pizza hut and ordered medium pizza and had 2 pieces each. We stayed at pizza hut for one hour and had a chat. It was 7, so we went to Kim's Club and bought ingredients for cookies and also bought some chocolates for valentines day. After we bought stuffs, we all came to our home and watched DVD, called Freaky Friday. I feel I wathced it ten thousand times but still it was great.

2008 02 05

I met a friend called Lynn and she is one year older than me. She had to buy a contact senz, therefore we went to DaeChiDong and bought two of them. Because we walked a lot, we got hungry and went to a KimBap store and had Kimbap. I got a phone call from Lynn's friend. She wanted to watch movie with us, so we met her at ApGujung and watched movie called "Fall in love for 6 years". We all liked it. Lynn and I came to my home and made some cookies at night. We were so loud that my brother woke up while he was sleeping.

2008 02 04

I went to SeoHyun and met Enyoung, Sarah and Wendy.We walked around and decided to go to NoRaeBang. We only wanted one hour but they gave us two hours, thereforewe stayed there almost for two hours. First we chose real slow and romantic songs, but times went by, we chose real hard, silly and noisy songs. Enyoung and I shouted as hard as we can. After singing, we got so hungry. There was a chicken house and we went in and orderedfood for four people. We ate a lot that we almost couldn't move. We all had a wonderful and great time.

2008 2 2

It was my grandmother's birthday. Therefore our whole entire family went to a hotel and had wonderful delicious dinner. I bought her some cream for her face. It makes her look younger and she really liked it. I was also happy because I saw her face smiling. My stomach was so full that I felt hurt. Still I liked it because I had a wonderful dinner.

My Sister's Keeper talks about Fitzgerald Family.Anna is the youngest of 3 children in her house.Kate, her older sister has leukemia since she was young.Anna is product because of her sister. She have to donate her cord blood cells to Kate to fight off the cancer.Her parents say that she is born for her sister, and that is why they loved her.At the age of 13, Anna has gone through shots, transfusions, and a series of surgeries.Kate's cancer has moved into her kidney and she needs a kidney transplant.Of course, Anna is the chosen one to be the donater.But for the first time, she refuses to donate her kidney.She knows that it would be impossible to understand her parents, so she decides to sue her parents for the rights of her own body.

2008 2 1

I slept 2 hours because I looked forward to skiing with my friends. At twenty past six, I met Kay, Rina and Helena at in front of Hyundai Department Store. We met there because bus is there and taking us to a skiing ground. We arrived at nine and met Wendy and went to buy a ticket for a ski lift, snowboard and ski. Helena, Kay and Rina rode ski and Wendy and I rode board. We all got excited and rode for plenty hours. There were some food below, therefore we ordered some and had it for lunch. All I can remember from skiing were eating and falling down. I got whole bunch of bruises over my body.
